Coach Kavanaugh specializes in sports performance training. He has trained over 25,000 athletes, including hundreds of Division I college athletes, as well as NFL, MLB, NBA, Olympic athletes and UFC fighters. He is a former elite athlete with such credentials as being a high school All-American football player, a member of the Junior U.S. National Wrestling team, and Junior Olympic decathlete. He began training and coaching while still in high school, and after an injury ended his playing career, turned his passion and talent to helping others improve their game. He brings his training expertise to all levels – from professionals, to college athletes preparing for their chance at the next level, to high school and youth athletes looking to improve their skills and confidence, to individuals recovering from injuries – anyone who is serious about their fitness goals. Having worked with, trained with, and been mentored by some of the greatest coaches in the field today, Coach Kavanaugh knows the impact a coach can have on the life of an athlete, particularly at the high school level. As a result, he approaches coaching with the view that many of life’s greatest lessons come from athletic competition and how one prepares for that competition. He has developed numerous high school and youth speed and sport programs, emphasizing the complete athlete…fitness as well as nutrition, confidence, and mental strength. As a coach, mentor, and motivator, Coach Kavanaugh empowers athletes to exceed their goals. He is a certified personal trainer, holds an ISSA performance nutrition certification, is kettlebell certified, SCENAR and Systemic Interactive Healing ABC trained, is a Nike SPARQ (Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction, & Quickness) Certified speed coach, has been a guest speaker at events around the country, and is the founder of Elite Athletes USA, Inc. and Gladiator Training Systems, a sports performance company based out of Miami, FL. |
